If you do need someone, we at Magnolia Court, have the perfect In House Server.  Mr. Jim, who also cleans our building, has worked for many of our customers.  For a small fee, $200, he and one of his relatives, will come one hour before your event and stay for your four hour reception.  Remember, you get six hours, but your reception is to be no longer than four hours, with the remaining two hours to get your guest out and to do the three things required of you: removed all decorations you have brought in, throw all trash indoor and out and get all food out of the building.

But during your four hour reception, Mr. Jim will serve the food and keep your food trays replenished, throw indoor trash during your event, (it is your responsibility to throw all trash indoor and out after your event), pack any leftover food in containers that you provide, clean the kitchen, utensils, pots, serve the drinks and clean the bar area.  After your four hour reception while you are doing the things required of you, Mr. Jim is also my cleanup man.  He will begin picking up the tables, chairs and any decorations that you rent from me, after you have removed any greenery, ribbon etc. that you have placed on them. I have done three weddings, for my children, at Magnolia Court.  For the first wedding, I didn't have Mr. Jim.  I had one relative offer to take care of the bar, one for the kitchen.  Within 45 minutes after the reception started, neither was in their area.  I, the mother who had a lot already to do, was behind the bar serving.  Relatives will offer to help you.  But believe me, taking care of the kitchen area, replenishing the food, heating the food, cleaning the pots etc. in the kitchen area, is a LOT OF WORK.  It's not something, you as the mother of the bride want or will have time to do.

For this reason, it is very helpful, and so cost worthy, to hire Mr. Jim.  He will also pick up after your guest, if they didn't, throw the trash as it fills up and replace the bags, you will need 35 gallon trash bags on hand for him.

When the time comes to begin picking up and loading your leftover food into your car, it will be packed and ready to go.  Mr. Jim is also our cleanup up man, here at Magnolia Court.  When it's time to pick up he will be there ready to get the tables, chairs etc. up.  Before you know it, all will be done and you will find that your event has run extra smoothly, because of he and his helper.
